Overview
Namib Futures (NF) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in April 2024 and dedicated to accelerating Namibian talent and leadership. Our mission is to cultivate the intellectual, emotional, and professional growth of the next generation of leaders in Namibia and, over time, across the African continent.
We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by expanding access to opportunity. Through university scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development programs, we invest in the potential of young Namibians—equipping them with the tools, networks, and confidence to lead and create lasting impact. As we grow, we aim to extend these initiatives to youth in other African countries.

We focus on high-potential students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, bridging the gap between their current reality and their future leadership potential. By strengthening their skills and sense of possibility, we provide the support needed to turn aspiration into achievement and create a legacy of lasting change.
Our Programs
Namib Futures has a multi-tiered set of programs designed for our Namibian students, with multi-phased plans to reach students in Southern Africa and sub-Saharan Africa in the future.
