
Sandra K. Johnson, Ph.D.
Sandra K. Johnson is the Founder and CEO, SKJ Visioneering, LLC, a technology consulting company. She is an Independent Director at Regional Management Corporation (NYSE:RM), dependent Director at Pan-American Life Insurance Company (PALIG), serving on its Audit, and Finance Committees. Dr. Johnson has a certification in Climate Leadership from Diligent, and a Director Certification from NACD (NACD:DC). Dr. Johnson is the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering. She had a 26-year IBM career, including serving as the CTO, IBM Central, East and West Africa, and CTO, IBM Global Small and Medium Businesses. Sandra is a Master Inventor with over 45 pending and issued patents and over 80 technical publications. She has authored five books, including her memoir, Soft Power for the Journey: The Life of a STEM Trailblazer. Dr. Johnson earned B.S. (summa cum laude), M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering, from Southern University, Stanford University, and Rice University, respectively. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). She is also an IEEE Fellow.

Robert Myres
Robert is founder and Board Member of Mondesa Youth Opportunities (MYO), an academic-based youth development program operating in Western Namibia for more than 20 years. MYO provides extensive academic and life-skills intervention for more than 250 students. Robert is also author of ‘Silicon Valley to Southern Africa‘ and founder of Pyramid PgM, a technology management consulting organization.
Robert divides his time between Columbus OH and West Virginia and travels frequently to Namibia in support of MYO, Namib Futures, and Emerging Namibia, a technology-based media initiative highlighting successful young Namibians who have overcome severe odds to achieve great things.

Elron Awase
Elron is an Engineer and an Entrepreneur with passion for education and empowerment. He serves on the Board Member of Mondesa Youth Opportunities, an academic-based youth development program operating in Western Namibia for more than 20 years. Elron is founder and managing director of an energy management company in Namibia, which operates in Southern Africa. He was nominated as the Energy Manager of the Year by Association of Energy Engineers (USA) for the Sub-Saharan Africa market.
Elron holds an Executive MBA from New York University, a M.Eng. (Energy Management) from University of Pretoria and a B.Eng (Electrical ) also from University of Pretoria. He divides his time between New York City and Walvis Bay Namibia, where is work takes him to be part of MYO and Namib Futures. He supports other initiatives, which focus on uplifting and training their communities. He dedicates his time with family, friends, sports and traveling as part of his socializing.

Leonard Hango
Leonard is a senior Technical Leader Engineer with over 30 years of networking software development experience in the internet technology space. He has made significant contributions to cutting edge networking products and solutions during his 29 years at Cisco Systems. He has architected and delivered solutions that are part of Cisco’s networking product portfolio including switching and routing systems deployed on-premises, branch and cloud. These networking platforms and solutions are the most widely deployed in the world providing internet infrastructure for secure communication across the globe.
Leonard escaped from Namibia at the peak of Apartheid and spent years in exile before he came to the USA to pursue education at Morehouse College. He is deeply passionate about improving education for Namibian youth to bridge the gap created by the Bantu education instituted by the Apartheid system that most Namibians suffered from before independence in 1990. Leonard holds a B.S and M.S in Computer Science from Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University respectively in Atlanta, GA.
